Full transparency on our business model — so you understand exactly how our incentives align with yours as a homeowner.
When a homeowner submits a quote request through our platform, we may charge a fee to the contractor who receives that lead. This fee is paid by the contractor — never by the homeowner. Homeowners use our platform completely free of charge.
In the future, we may offer enhanced listing packages to contractors that include additional profile features, photos, or promotional placement. Any paid placement will be clearly labeled as such and will not affect our editorial content or ranking methodology for organic listings.
Our lead generation model means our incentive is to connect homeowners with contractors who deliver good outcomes. A homeowner who has a bad experience with a contractor we connected them to is unlikely to use our platform again — and unlikely to recommend us to neighbors.
This aligns our financial incentives with yours: we succeed when you find a great contractor and have a positive experience. We fail when you have a bad experience.
This is fundamentally different from platforms that sell your contact information to every contractor who pays — regardless of quality — and have no stake in the outcome of your project.
We are committed to updating this page whenever our business model changes in a material way. If we introduce new revenue streams — such as advertising, affiliate relationships, or premium contractor packages — we will disclose them here clearly.
If you have questions about our business model or how a specific feature works, please contact us. We are happy to explain.
